Here I m talking about a simple but extremely relevant aspect of “Saving Water”.
Instead of a shower bath, a kiddy tub bath can be introduced to them and also fix water saving nozzles at the taps where it is fun as well as teaching them to use restricted water usage.
On a more mean
ingful level for them to understand the need to save such items like water, it is nicer to take them around to the lakes and reservoirs that supply water to the city and explain how limited our resources are.
It is also important to show them the people carrying water from tankers to their homes and make them realize it is a privilege for them to have running water in their taps at home.
To elderly kids prevention of evaporation of stored water/harvesting of rainwater etc can be taught.
